Low down on pricing...

Based on your contract with Unified Registrar, you will receive a low whole sale price. This price is called the 'Reseller Price' and is set up by Unified Registrar. The reseller then has flexibility to setup any price (Retail Price) which higher than the Reseller Price. Your customers will purchase at the 'Retail Price'.

Resellers will also have option to specify special pricing for one specific user. Resellers can also create special pricing for certain products for specific period of time (Promotion Pricing). This will help the reseller to make the best marketing effort as they see fit.

What are the 'types' of pricing?

Reseller Pricing	This is set by Unified Registrar. This is the lowest price a reseller can sell their products. Reseller cannot change this price.
Retail Pricing	This is the price set by the reseller which specifies the price he wants to sell the products to general customer.
User Pricing	Resellers will have option to set special pricing for a particular user. The price can be set as low as the reseller price.
Promotion Pricing	Resellers will have option to create special pricing for certain products for a specified period enabling them to run promotions. Reseller can set a price as low as the price set to him (Reseller Price). If the customer uses a promotion code associated with this pricing, then promotion pricing will take effect. Promotion pricing has higher precedence over User and Retail Pricing.

How to change the retail pricing?

You can change the retail pricing by going into 'Pricing Configuration' > 'Set Your Retail Price' page. You can choose the product you want to set the pricing for, choose TLDs to filter the list below and then edit the pricing. For your concenience the lowest price that you can set is also shown.

How to add a new promotion?

Goto 'Princing Configuration' > 'Promotion Pricing' (or similar name) page and you will have access to add or edit existing promotions. You will also be provided options for settings per product, per year level to give maximum flexibility in setting up the promotion.
